just came back from powerplant. my mom, my siblings (including my bro!), and i watched THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA. omggg...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MOVIE!!! ♥♥♥
oh, who am i kidding?! I LOVE EVERYTHING IN IT! there were lots of, well, prada. and chanel. and manolo blahnik. and jimmy choo. and marc jacobs. and balenciaga. and hermes. omg, hermes. and of course, who could forget...the smith & wollensky steak! sheesh! i can't believe andy dumped it in the sink! ooohhh i DEFINITELY CAN'T wait for the dvd to come out. :)
but of course, the movie's not just about fashion and ostentation. it's about perseverance and determination. it's about knowing what you really want and knowing how to PROPERLY get it.
now...for that job that would make me as (if not more) successful as and REALLY glamorous like her...

Philippines in Marikina, Laura Vicuna Center in Cubao, and Redeemer's Home in Antipolo, that give us the opportunity to give them the love they deserve as children of God.

just minutes ago, my 19-year old bro, holding a glass with ice and a bottle of zesto one red tea, stormed into my room...AGAIN. probably because the door was half open already. well, whatever, he never knocks...i don't think he ever did. anyway, he had this devilish grin i wanted to wipe off his face. i didn't mind him at first because i thought he just wanted to use (a.k.a. check himself out in) my full-body mirror (i knew he was supposed to be prepping for school already)...or make usyoso whatever it was i was doing...you know how delightfully pesky lil bros can be. i never thought there would come a time when i would actually enjoy his unwelcomed presence in my room. haha. he stood there for a couple of seconds and we exchanged "ano?!"s until he finally answered me with HIS TRADEMARK MISCHIEVOUS LOOK AND SMILE.
clutched in his relatively small moreno hand was a package not bigger than a short bond paper. it had ________ HALL, ADMU on it! it had MY FRIEND'S NAME on it!! and MY NAME ON IT!!! i got a package from a very missed close friend.
THIS has got to be one of the few SWEETEST, MOST GENUINE ACTS OF THOUGHTFULNESS a guy could ever do. ♥
on a not-so-different note, i remember receiving THESE for two consecutive days around this time a year ago...for absolutely no reason at all! FROM THIS SAME GUY FRIEND!!! such a sweetie. :)
